Look Book for Fashion Designer Gemma Pickerill
Brief:
Gemma Pickerill, an up and coming designer from The London College of Fashion, commissioned me to create a Look Book for her avant-garde latex collection. Gemma creates pieces for London's largest fetish event, Torture Garden. She has also been commissioned to make haute couture for the BBC and RuPaul's Drag Race UK..
Solution:
Gemma's work is unique in that it combines a classical style with a modern medium. I wanted to emphasise that contrast in my design. I used a classic typeface with an abstract and bold contemporary layout. I collaborated with the photographer and designer closely at every stage of this project, to produce something eye-catching and edgy.
